100th Day of School!!

Monday marked P1’s 100th day of school! We had lots of fun doing different ‘100’ activities to celebrate!

We started the day with a 100 themed soft start! This included a teamwork task of building 100 cup and 100 pieces of Lego structures, painting 100 dots, drawing a 100 monster, writing numbers to 100, making 100 Numicon and peg board patterns and counting in 10s to 100 hopscotch!

We then got busy making our 100 days smarter hats. This involved counting ten strips of paper and either sticking or drawing 10 things on each strip, making 100 things in total! We needed to do lots of careful counting and use our fine motor skills to stick on the objects. The children worked really hard to make these wonderful hats and displayed excellent independence skills.

Our next job was to make 100 Cheerio necklaces! More fine motor skills being developed and lots of concentration and perseverance required!

In the afternoon it was party time!!! We worked together to count 100 pieces of different food items to enjoy!

Enjoying some party food….

and a little bit of dancing!! πŸ˜€

Happy 100th Day! We are all 100 days smarter! πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸ’―
