Following our learning about night and day we had a go at creating our own starry night paintings inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. We started by learning a little bit about the artist and looking at some examples of his work. We then painted our own starry night backgrounds using swirling brush strokes and night time colours.
We then drew and cut out city sky lines from black paper to stick on our painted backgrounds.
Look at our fantastic finished masterpieces. Art work to be very proud of! 😊🎨
